I’m just trying to record using my elgato hd60s, please help! If you have any other ways to record using a MacBook Pro 2020 and an elgato hd60 S, please tell.
Mic Exclusive Mode Is On In case you don’t know, once engaged, Exclusive Mode shall prevent your mic from coming on if you use specific programs such as Skype, TeamSpeak and so on at the same time as OBS. (For clarity, there were no apps running behind OBS/Streamlabs and I tried on separate takes) For most of the time, by disabling the Push-To-Talk function, you would be able to tackle the OBS not picking up mic issue. Everything was perfectly fine until I got onto the page on OBS where you were supposed to add your NDI source. When I went into Elgato’s game capture software, it says that I needed to have a computer with a dedicated cpu. However, I ran into a few problems and I need a bit of help.
But when I open Wirecast and go to add the Elgato as a capture device, it doesn't show up. The camera input shows up great in Elgato Game Capture HD no problems booting up and no issues disconnecting. Youll have to run their software in fullscreen and capture the window instead, or replace your card with the Camlink.

Nice to meet all of you :D So I just got a new MacBook Pro 2020, 4 thunderbolts, 2 ghz intel quad-core i5 and I wanted to use it to record videos of my Nintendo Switch with an Elgato HD60 S. The Canon is connected into the HD60 via mini-HDMI to regular HDMI cable, and the HD60 is connected to the Mac via mini-USB. Unfortunately Elgato doesnt provide Mac drivers for the HD, HD60, or HD60S that work with OBS, so you cant add them as a video capture device.
